Maeve Thompson is an Irish artist and writer, from and based in the North-West of England. Their practice is underpinned by a considered use of salvaged material, and defined by a desire to visualise and unite the fragmented diasporic identity. Maeve’s work explores these intricate connections between memory, culture, and identity through a process-driven approach that embraces both the tangible and intangible. Alongside their studio practice, Maeve works as a Jewellery Designer.
