Maeve Thompson is an Irish artist and writer from the North-West of England, and based in Glasgow. Their practice is underpinned by a considered use of salvaged material, and defined by a desire to visualise and unite the fragmented diasporic identity. Maeve’s work explores these intricate connections between memory, culture, and identity through a process-driven approach that embraces both the tangible and intangible. Their work is currently held in Manchester Metropolitan University Special Collections, and stocked across the UK.
